When your car breaks down you know just where to go, but when your motorboat breaks down, or your chainsaw stops working, you need a small engine repair specialist. Small engine repair focuses on the types of engines found in outdoor power equipment, motorcycles, boats, and power tools.

During a typical small engine repair, the mechanic will inspect the engine, check the brakes, electrical systems, fuel injection systems, plugs, carburetors, and other parts.
