In May 2004 the U.S. Department of Labor reported median annual earnings of $92,570 for managers in information technology. The minimum educational requirement for entry-level jobs is usually a bachelor's degree. For the more senior positions employers will be looking for individuals with a master's degree, extensive training, and experience in the field.
