The Online Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management is a broadly based introductory program that is intended for individuals who wish to develop their practical managerial skills and gain a base for pursuing a career in the industry. It includes general management courses and introductory courses from each of the three areas of specialization within the Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program. This certificate requires completion of four courses: HTM 100 Introduction to Hospitality, HTM 240 Rooms Division Management, HTM 250 Food Service Management, and HTM 260 Personnel Management. Required courses will be taught each year during the months of January - July.
