E-Discovery Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Online

Program Highlights

Designed, developed and delivered by preeminent experts in the field, our program is a 20 credit course of study based upon the occupational analysis of the e-Discovery field, input and direction from the University's E-Discovery Advisory Board, along with other industry resources. The course is designed to prepare professionals to manage and participate in e-Discovery efforts both in legal actions and in on-going risk management operations performed by firms.

In our online classrooms, your courses will cover:

  • Analysis of relevant e-Discovery case law, with a focus on preservation, collection, analysis, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Comprehensive study of IT systems, including common system architecture and data storage protocols, and their relationship to the e-Discovery process.
  • Practical instruction on the traditional elements of project management and their application to the nuances of fast-paced e-Discovery investigations.

Interactive Online Classes and Labs

Using learning technologies delivered through real-time online environments, you'll be able to see, hear and interact with your instructors. You'll also be able to participate in online, collaborative learning with other students, view multimedia presentations of course content, and engage in ongoing forum discussions with instructors. In our state-of-the-art e-Discovery simulation lab, you'll work on real-world cases that give you direct, hands-on experience - so you can grapple with some of the toughest challenges in the industry and learn to overcome them.
