Kaplan University Announces New RN to MSN Degree

Nursing students are not only in demand, but they have many opportunities for work in both the public and private sectors. Registered Nurses who continue their education can earn their Master of Science in Nursing, which advances them in their field. Kaplan University recently announced several new programs, and one of them makes is easier for nurses to get their RN to MSN degree.
"Kaplan University is continuously creating new degree programs in order to offer students the most current and comprehensive education for some of today's fastest-growing fields," said David Clinefelter, Ph.D., Provost of Kaplan University. "We are dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to advance in their current career or to begin a new one."
Kaplan University's RN to Master of Science in Nursing degree is designed to allow registered nurses to satisfy specific core requirements for Kaplan University's Master of Science in Nursing program while completing their bachelor's degree in nursing. Students then have the opportunity to enter Kaplan University's Master of Science in Nursing program in a condensed format. This program offers two tracks"one in nursing administration and the other in nursing education. The curriculum focuses on skills in areas such as health promotion and disease prevention, leadership, ethical and legal perspectives in healthcare, healthcare planning for diverse communities and education concepts and curriculum development.
The RN to MSN program is for registered nurses with an associate's degree who want to earn their master of science in nursing degree (MSN) immediately after earning their bachelor of science in nursing degree (BSN). An accelerated program like this allows students complete their degree in a significantly shorter period of time.
