Ellis College Instates New Tuition Discount Program

Administrators at Ellis College, one of the leading, accredited online colleges, has recently announced that they are initiating a new tuition discount program to sworn officers, including law enforcement, corrections, probation, and security officers as well as their spouses. This discount is available to both active and retired officers. According to United Business Media, the following discounts are now available at Ellis College:

• 20% Tuition Discount: Active, full time sworn officers and security professionals.
  
• 15% Tuition Discount: Retired sworn officers & security professionals with 10+ years of honorable service.
  
• 15% Tuition Discount: Spouses of eligible active personnel.
  
• 10% Tuition Discount: Spouses of eligible retired personnel.

This most recent tuition discount program at Ellis College is in addition to a similar program that began in March that offers discounts to active and retired military personnel. Ellis College is the solely-online campus of NYIT and awards degrees in more than 50 programs, including an MBA program. Officials at Ellis insist that they value the work performed by military personnel and sworn officers, and therefore want to assist in the ability of these individuals to pursue college degrees around their busy work schedules.
