New Admission Tool Helps Students Find Online Schools

The process of finding an online school can be grueling. You have to sift through website after website looking for schools that offer the programs and amenities. But, even if you’re interested in a school, it doesn’t mean that that school will be interested in you. Because of this, many students are stuck shelling out application fees for five or ten schools, hoping that they’ll get accepted into at least one of them. However, according to eMediaWire, a new college admission tool called StudentProspector could help ease this process:

The StudentProspector registration form, an online college application and admission tool that utilizes the latest Web technologies, allows students to fill out information about themselves that college admissions counselors would be interested to know. These counselors then search through the information in an effort to identify ideal students for their campus, and when they find them, they can recruit them, and even offer them a scholarship.

Students simply fill out a registration form that asks questions about their school history, their career goals, and their educational interests. It takes about a half an hour. When students have finished the registration form, they are then displayed information about online colleges that match their educational needs. In addition, their information is forwarded to schools that the student might be interested in.
