Career change, advancement, evolving job requirements, and competition require professionals to increase their capabilities throughout their careers. Cardean University’s Graduate Certificates in Business programs are intended for professionals with either MBA or baccalaureate degrees who wish to gain additional knowledge and skills in new fields. Graduate Certificate students take many of the same courses that are available to Cardean University MBA students.
The Graduate Certificate Program in Strategy and Economics provides students with more advanced knowledge in key areas such as economic applications, information usage, and strategic advantage. Such knowledge helps students meet their specific career and professional goals in the strategy and analysis areas. Required courses for the Graduate Business Certificate in Strategy and Economics include Managerial Strategy, Topics in Strategy, Economics for Managers, Macroeconomics, Game Theory and Information Economics, and Managing the Workforce.
Students who already possess a MBA degree can complete a Graduate Certificate to further their knowledge in a particular subject matter (as long as such courses were not previously completed for another graduate degree program). Students who do not possess a MBA degree can complete a Graduate Certificate in Business and then apply those credits toward completion of the Cardean University MBA degree program.
