A.A. in Health Care Administration-Medical Records

The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Health Care Administration/Medical Records offers students a basic overview of medical records management practices. It also lays a foundation for further study in health care at the bachelors degree level. The concentration courses focus on medical terminology related to disease diagnosis and treatment, patient information management, and medical claims processing. In one course, software-based instruction simulates a variety of records management processes commonly found in medical facilities.
